1. Remove engine thermostat blindly

Some drivers think that the temperature of the driving engine is not too high, so they remove the engine thermostat blindly. Therefore, the engine often works under low temperature conditions, resulting in the loss of power, wear, increased fuel consumption, and so on. In fact, low temperatures are bad for engines. 2. The tighter the fan belt, the better

Tightening is not better. Too tight belt will not only make it stretch or damage, shorten the service life of the belt, but also cause the generator shaft, pump shaft bending deformation and bearing early damage because of too much pressure. Loose Trailer engine fan belt should meet the technical requirements, generally normal belt assembly deviation of 10 to 15 mm is appropriate.

3. Engine idling

Many drivers know that the car just started, if the engine speed is too high, it will damage the engine due to poor lubrication. However, few people know that if the engine is idle for a long period of time, due to low speed, the oil pump can not quickly press down the lubricating oil for all lubricating surfaces, and all moving parts of the engine will work under dry friction or semi dry friction conditions. At the same time, due to the poor atomization of low-temperature fuel, unburned fuel will enter the crankcase, wash off the oil film on the cylinder wall, and accelerate the wear of parts. Therefore, in low temperature conditions, after a few seconds of engine start-up, we should improve the idle speed fast heating, improve the engine lubrication conditions.

4. Tire pressure, high but not low

Some drivers like to call the tire pressure high and think it can be heavy-duty and energy-saving. This is not true. If the tire pressure is too high, the ground contact of the tire will be reduced and the wear will be aggravated, but it is also easy to puncture. At the same time, because the tire pressure is too high, it can reduce the adhesion coefficient of the tire, reduce the braking effect, increase the sideslip, and cause greater harm to the driving safety. Similarly, if the low tire pressure is not good, it will cause the shoulder of the tire and increase the tire and fuel consumption.
